  Noun Clauses  What is a Noun Clause? A noun clause is a clause (a group of words with a subject and a verb) that serves as a noun in a sentence. In the English language, nouns are the words used to refer to people, places, or things. To work properly in English grammar, noun clauses must be part of a larger sentence to form a complete thought. For example , in the sentence “She liked that he was always on time,” the noun clause “that he was always on time” cannot stand alone. GENRES OF BOOKS 1. Do you prefer fiction or non-fiction? What genres? Have you ever read a book in English? How about a magazine or a newspaper? if not, what would you like to read? why? I prefer fiction and the romantic genre. I've never read a book, magazine or newspaper in English before but I hope one day I'll be able to read the little prince because it's hard to follow and I like challenges.
